DYB opened in 2020 with the same ownership as Downtown Dog Lounge - Seattle’s premier daycare and boarding facility since 2002. Proudly female-owned.
Our Story
In the wake of the COVID pandemic, when the typical social haunts like bars became off-limits, we embarked on a mission to create a haven like no other—a sanctuary for both people and their dogs to mingle safely. In combination with that, this venture was born out of a personal quest as well; our own dogs didn't thrive at regular dog parks, prompting the need for a safer, more controlled environment.
That’s why our vision went beyond the average dog park, establishing a place with top-notch standards for safety and enjoyment. Every detail was meticulously considered. With an expansive outdoor area, we transformed the rest into a thrilling dog history. Rain or shine, in the dog-loving city of Seattle, we recognize the importance of outdoor exercise for pups, along with the added perk of enjoying a glass of bubbly champagne or a cold beer in the delightful company of your furry friend.
Welcome to a haven where safety, socialization, and a good time collide for both dogs and their parents!
Who We Are
Our space has separate areas for large and small dogs, as well as private party spaces. While your four-legged friend socializes, exercises, and revels in the fun, you can reconnect with old friends or make new ones over a refreshing beer or a delicious meal.
